It Takes Time to Re-Emerge

March 2022 New opportunities, new ideas, new life views.

There is only one journey. Going inside yourself. – Rainier Maria Rilke

Perhaps we are all scrooges when it comes to self-nurturing because if we were kind to ourselves, feeling any amount of relief, satisfaction, contentment – heaven forbid to feel Okay. . .would no-way be aligned with our familiar ruts and grooves and looping stories to Self about Self;  as they are comforting in their own non-self-helping way.  Yes way.

That was Past. Here is NOW.

What about our inner yearnings, the whispers of ‘oh, I’ve always wanted to do that…’  and then our inner Self may begin to feel our Light and we begin to lean towards our Light. Then we can start to blossom in a new, different way.

Yet, we all know how most feel about CHANGE: any kind, for better or for worse would not be aligned with our familiar ruts and grooves and looping stories to Self about Self, as they are comforting in their own non-self-helping way. Yes way.

Any little bit of experimenting in self-nurturance is very frightening for most of us – Julia Cameron

What can Self-Nurturing look like?

First, all paths and practices take one to the Present Moment.

Taking 2 minutes, although 5-10-15 is ideal:

  • Gaze into a candle.

  • Follow your breath.

  • Observe nature amidst it, or from indoors really seeing that special space or item you have placed outdoors

  • Concentrate and reflect upon a special word, poem, prayer or image to allow a deeper personal meaning to surface within your Soul Self

Engage all 5 senses: see hear taste touch smell

Be aware that each season and its shifting rhythms offer pathways to absorb, imbibe and connect your head and your heart.

Meditation, guided imagery and breath-awareness are the staples in being mindful, in-the-present-moment and reducing stressors, anxiety and all manner of angst.

These practices are simple and easy, although sometimes they are said to be boring to do alone.

HOWEVER, why do you think they have been around since the beginning of time and are utilized more and more… yet most do not know how or where to begin.

Know that many individuals see a healing arts practitioner- spiritual coach to learn how to create new habits in accordance for what they are wanting in their life.

It's not about first ‘’getting through the _____”,  project, illness or whatever.  It is about FIRST CROSSING OVER INTO SOME relief, through introducing new habits into your daily living.

Well-Being:  How you feel about yourself.

The hardest task you’ll ever do.
