You may just have to take the first steps scared.


I’ve written before, that rituals and practices of self-nurturance ARE THE MORTOR that holds our day —- that holds US, together in getting through our day.

  • Something as simple as lighting a candle.

  • Pausing for a minute or 2, every hour or so throughout the day to BREATHE IN AND BREATHE OUT 11 slow, deep, lingering breaths.

  • Still yourself. Somewhere, anywhere, sitting, standing, stretching, indoors, outdoors (is you possibly can) and experience the view with all your senses: seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and feeling…..

  • Take the first different, often scary step in taking a class, scheduling an energy healing session, an appointment with a spiritual direction counselor OR join a group ‘spiritual companion circle’.

  • Listen to your whispers. Follow what comes through.

  • KNOW, your inner-guidance is always on your side.

What next? Why me? When? How?

We each always have CHOICE.

Choosing NOT to make a choice,

choosing not to take a new and different course of action:

well, that is what we struggle to defend and justify in our darkest hours of the night.

How’s that working?
